    Sanghee,

The REO Expo is one of the greatest REO events of the year, and the hosts are outstanding. Both Paul and Richard are top of the class professionals. My advice to you is this – continue to try and find a way to get in with BofA, but don’t let it stop you from attending. You’ll meet amazing people and network beyond anything you could do from your office.

Be sure to stay active every minute of your time at the Expo, especially after hours. There is always after hours events that you can get an invitation to. Make friends, learn from every class you can, and network..network…network!

Hi Margue – it is time consuming, but I think they do it that way on purpose. They want to “thin the herd”…..well, the NFSTI is not getting left out.

Thank you to the members who have patiently waited for the NFSTI DS Core exam software to get corrected. I’m thankful to the original designer of the software for stepping in when we needed him to address the testing software and making sure it was repaired immediately after I reminded him that it was not repaired yet.

My sincere apologies for those of you who were waiting for your NFSTI Golden Feather. If you have not received your Golden Feather Achievement and have passed the 2012 NFSTI DS Core exam please send a message to my Messagebox and I will look up your scores and make sure you receive the Achievement.

    Thank you,

    Dan

    Gentlemen,

You should be accepted to the DS Core group as requested, however; I’m still waiting to hear back from the original designer of the testing software that grades the NFSTI DS Core exam. I’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, there is SO much that is available at your fingertips – everything from REO company list downloads to eBooks on marketing and REO insider tips – that you can do a lot to move your businesses forward. As you may know, the certification in this industry is but a small fraction of what drives the business distribution. Let me know if you’d like more intel on that by shooting my a message to my inbox (I don’t like to chat about this type of information publicly).

    Thank you,

    Dan

As you get more and more involved in the REO industry it becomes more clear that there are sophisticated operations that trigger the source of REO listings which we (real estate professionals) aren’t always apprised of.  Decisions are made at the corporate and government level of real estate that effect your business as a real [...]

Margue – On average acceptance into NRBA takes around 3 years at this point. A good friend of mine was just accepted after a 3 year wait and was divided between feeling gracious and a bit annoyed. In the end, he put aside his personal feelings and joined only to find out that it was one of the best decisions he has made for his REO business in years. NRBA is also working with CDPE now and they have courses you can take to cover short sale as well.
